The account number associated with a line item in POSLink can be changed in one of two places:
  1. Financial Location Setup (Setup > POSLink > Select a Location > Definitions Tab)
To change an account number on the Financial Location Setup screen click on the Account field for a line item (highlight #1 in the image below) and enter an account number.
You can also use the "Account Lookup" (highlight #2) to see a list of accounts from your accounting system if they have been imported.

    • Account number changes in the Financial Location Setup screen will apply to future imports. Data that you have previously imported will need to be re-imported to pick up the new account numbers.
    • The same process can be used to change account numbers for calculations on the "Calculations" tab.
  2. Daily Summary (POSLink Button > Daily Summary > Select a Location and Date)
To change an account number on the Daily Summary screen click on the Account field for a line item (highlight #1 in the image below) and enter an account number.
You can also use the "Account Lookup" (highlight #2) to see a list of accounts from your accounting system if they have been imported.
If you can't see the account number field you may need to change the window to "Multiple Line View" by clicking the expansion button (highlight #3).

    • Account number changes in the Daily Summary screen are saved back to the Financial Location Setup "Definitions" tab and will apply to future imports.
    • Account numbers for calculations must be changed under the Financial Location Setup "Calculations" tab for the changes to be saved.
